Pavement Cracks (City of London), black patinated bronze, 2012

The title of the work here identifies what it is the viewer is looking at. The work is somewhat like a drawing to me, because of the linear qualities, but I wouldn't have identified it as a casting of cracks in the pavement.

My main interest in Parkner's works is the way the titles relate to the piece, in some cases it's the origin of the materials, sometimes though minimal words are used in a way that creates additional imagery.
